redk’s first CRM Innovation Showcase presenting SugarCRM product roadmap for 2020
On 20th November, redk presented their CRM Innovation Showcase at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in London.
The event brought attendees up to date with the latest digital trends shaping the CX and CRM space. Additionally, special guest and former assistant coach of Liverpool FC, Pako Ayestarán, shared insights he gained over a 20-year career in professional sports coaching.
redk CMO and CRM Strategist, Hideki Hashimura, opened the event with a talk on the digital trends driving CX design. He explained how the latest and future innovations in this area can have a positive impact on a business’ relationship with its customers, as well as its own operations.
He was followed by SugarCRM’s Regional Sales Director Jason Pye, who spoke on how to impact the customer experience through digital innovation. He demonstrated SugarCRM’s commitment to staying at the cutting edge by applying the latest technologies in the field.
Both speakers emphasised how in an evolving world with more demanding consumers, the way people interact with brands is changing. A business must keep consumers engaged if they don’t want to fall behind the competition. Following these two talks, a Q&A session served to highlight the vital role innovation plays in those interactions.
After the Q&A, it was special guest speaker Pako Ayestarán’s turn. His talk titled, ‘Getting Further Together’, provided valuable insights on the importance of having a vision, creating a clear strategy and working together as a team to achieve any goal.
Ayestarán has certainly seen the benefits of the successful implementation of these principles. Using anecdotes gathered from a successful career – highlighted by assisting Rafael Benitez in Liverpool’s famous Champions’ League victory in 2005 – his thoughts on teamwork were extremely illuminating, coming from the sharpest end of his profession. His invaluable contribution was followed by a networking opportunity for all attendees, rounding off an engaging morning for everybody.
